Hartbeespoort, or Harties as the locals call it, is surrounded by the beautiful Magaliesberg mountain range. The dam is literally cradled in the lap of the mountains, and the peace of the hills and valleys, the warmth even on winter days and the charm of the surrounding countryside, makes running in the scenic country side very special.
